DuBois
The KOA campground in DuBois, WY was very nice and the town is beginning to
blossom. We really enjoyed the Olympic National Park in Washington and many more.

Grizzly RV
Park
Location: West
Yellowstone
Review:
This was
our favorite park yet. It had clean showers and restrooms, free
cappuccinos in the morning, a nice playground, within walking distance to all West Yellowstone has to offer, and a friendly
staff. Nice paved roads too! Recommended by jeffandsonja , 3/19/2005.

We spent 7 nights at Yellowstone’s Edge. It is great. Bath house gets a “10”.
CG is right on the Yellowstone River. Not too far
north of the north entrance to Yellowstone Natl. Park. (15-20 miles)

We just left Grand Teton NP and Yellowstone
NP last week. In Grand Teton, the Gros Ventre Campground has 360 sites. It's dry camping, with
central water and dump. The sites are large and well separated. It never filled
up while we were there, and there were plenty of sites for big rigs. It's
$15/night. There is marginal Verizon cellular data service there.
At the north end of Yellowstone, the Mammoth
Campground is very nice. $14/night for dry camping, but there is no dump station.
There are plenty of big rig sites there. There was good Verizon data service
there.
At both of these campgrounds, you have a much better chance of getting a good
site if you get there between 10:00 AM and noon.
In the middle of Yellowstone is the Fishing
Bridge RV Park. It's the only full-hookup (30 amp)
park inside Yellowstone. The main attraction is location.
Reservations are required there, although there are sometimes sites available
right at checkout time when people leave before they had intended. There is no
cellular service at all in this part of the park. The nearest Internet access
is a modem jack at the hotel three miles down the road. Hope that helps. Dave Rudisill Coram, MT (No tents or pop-ups or anything with canvas

North Platte River City
Last June we spent a
night at North Platte River City Park in Douglas,
WY. What a great little place and
free! Just a place to spend a night
or two, open parking with no hookups but a rest room with shower and
dump. It is right next to the river and very pleasant. From I25 take
exit 40 east on US 87. In about a mile or two you
cross the river and
the park is on your left, near the intersection of Grant St. (posted by unknown) (The city's
web site calls it Riverside Park. Wyoming's tourism web site calls it River Side Park. Also listed as Riverside City Park.)
Riverton
It's called the Wind
River Casino, and it's on the Wind River reservation, about 1 mile south of
Riverton on WY 789. Drycamping is OK in the gravel
lot south of the casino and gas station area - big rigs OK, looks like no
problem for
satellite dish reception. Lot is moderate in size and could accommodate a number of
rigs. Small c-store inside. (7-06)
