Edisto Beach State
Park in South Carolina. What a gem that was! We
will definitely head back there before the end of the year. Many of the
sites are directly on the beach. From several of them you can watch the
waves breaking from your RV. It is a great shelling beach. Also,
the island is great for family bicycling. Very quite place but adequate
facilities. Has a grocery store directly across from the main entrance to
the campground. (photo)

Have been lurking for a month or so. Have gone from 8
yrs full timing in motor home to part time in 26 ft tt.
Enjoy the life style and people. Wondering if Roger uses a generator when
at primitive camps?? How does he connect to internet and e mail?? We have
stayed at Buck Hall CG in Awendaw SC along the ICW and is one of our favorite spots. Aso
along the NC coast, the Croatan NF has some good ones. The one near Swansboro has scattered water, elec
at sites, dump and good restroom and showers.
We are based in Smoky Mtns in western Carolina and travel to MN in summer
(family there) and any where warm in winter. We are Escapees and enjoy
their parks along with the COE's, and other federals.
Do some commercial cg's also. Claudia
