This is a fantastic campground to stay in if you want to see the sights in Natchez, Mississippi. It is located in Vidalia right at the foot of the Mississippi River Bridge which connects to downtown Natchez. The sites are level and paved and the interior roads are gravel. There are large grassy areas between the sites and the Mississippi River for the kids to play on. There is an extremely nice 2 mile paved river walk which takes you from the campground, along the river, and under the bridge. It's great for an evening stroll, a morning jog, or for skating or riding bikes. There are not many mature trees, though. The campground was very clean and there was trash pick-up every morning. They have what appears to be a very nice pool, but since it was February, it was not open. I would have given the campground a 10 if it had cable and paved interior roads.  We camped here in a 33’ Travel Trailer and a 37’ fifth wheel 2/17/2006. Very inviting place to stay. Very friendly employees. The restrooms and showers are very clean. Close to downtown Natchez. Campsites are clearly marked, and clean. A peaceful atmosphere with a wonderful view of the Mississippi river. This park gets an A- in my book. This is a very nice campground. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only reason I did not rate it higher was because the roads were not paved and there was no cable tv.
