Cordele

Veterans Memorial Park, Cordele, GA.
A very nice Georgia State park. This site was recommended by the folks I purchased my MH from, in Atlantic Beach, FL.
The park is located just south of Perry, GA about 10 miles west of I-75. It has some sites right on the lake (Lake Blackshear) we were only there for 4 days but will return this year for at least a week. The park is very clean and well kept. The personnel are very professional. Fishing, swimming and pure relaxing are here for the taking. Enjoy.

Jekyll Island is located on the Atlantic Coast of Georgia.  Nearest city is Brunswick.  I would guess about 35 miles north of the Georgia-Florida border.

My wife and I camped on Jekyll Island in August and were very very pleased with the park. Good size sites, full hookups (all?) and Jekyll is a wonderful location.  And yes biking trails abound. The beaches a wide, unpopulated and abundant. 
We marked sites 15, 21 and 23 for our next visit.
